Sam Duprey - Principal
Mr. Duprey is a Co-Founder of Caliber Companies where he is active in all day-to-day activities of the Company, responsible for strategic decision-making including capital allocation, acquisitions, and core operations.
Prior to founding Caliber, Sam served as VP of Finance and Corporate Development at Kingsway Financial Services (NYSE: KFS), a publicly traded holding company. At Kingsway, Sam was primarily responsible for sourcing, negotiating, and executing acquisitions of warranty companies; post-close, Sam worked closely with management teams on transition and strategic initiatives.
Sam has led control and co-investments in businesses ranging from $1m to $8m in EBITDA and, prior to business school, spent two years working in finance and operations at a similarly sized business. Previously, Sam served as an aide to U.S. Senator John McCain and spent a year and a half working as a fly fishing guide in Wyoming and Chilean Patagonia.
Sam received a BA in political science from Yale University and an MBA from University of Chicago Booth School of Business.

Max Gaby - Principal
Mr. Gaby is a Co-Founder of Caliber Companies where he is active in all day-to-day activities of the Company, responsible for strategic decision-making including capital allocation, acquisitions, and core operations.
Prior to founding Caliber, Max served as an investor at BPEA where he was responsible for sourcing, evaluating, and executing investment opportunities across multiple sectors in the small cap market.
Max previously was an investor at Linden Capital and GTCR where he focused on buyouts and consolidation strategies in partnership with industry executives and worked closely with portfolio companies post-acquisition on value creation, governance, and business strategy. Max began his career as an investment banking analyst at Bank of America Merrill Lynch.
Max received a BS cum laude in finance and international business from Georgetown University and an MBA from University of Chicago Booth School of Business.

Nate Yagoda - Vice President
Mr. Yagoda is a Vice President of Caliber Companies where he is active across Caliber operations and investments.
Prior to joining Caliber, Nate served as the VP of Corporate Development at PLUS, a fast growing consumer business that was successfully acquired. Nate led the sale process of PLUS and played multiple functional leadership roles in growing the business from startup to scaled enterprise.
Nate started his career as a strategy consultant for consumer and industrial businesses and received a BBA from the Ross School of Business at the University of Michigan.

AJ Wasserstein
DIRECTOR
A.J. Wasserstein is a private investor, with a long-term orientation, interested in lower middle market businesses and philanthropic organizations, where he can be positively impactful by using his experiences, time and capital.
AJ was the President of Onesource Water, the third largest bottleless water service business in the U.S. Onesource Water was sold to Water Logic in 2016. Previously, A.J. was the founder and CEO of ArchivesOne, the third largest records management company in the U.S which he successfully built into a super-regional operator employing 400 people before selling to Iron Mountain (NYSE: IRM) after 17 years of operation.
A.J. is the Eugene F. Williams, Jr. Lecturer in the Practice of Management at Yale School of Management and serves on multiple Boards of private lower middle market businesses. A. J. graduated from Colgate University and received his MBA from New York University.

Doug Tudor
DIRECTOR
Doug Tudor is an active investor with diverse experience in operating, acquiring and scaling high-growth businesses with functional areas of expertise include high growth scaling, sales and marketing strategy and tactics, pricing, corporate strategy and acquisitions.
Doug spent nine years in various roles as a senior executive at Asurion Corporation, the leading global provider of technology protection services, which grew from $225 million to $4.8 billion in revenue during his tenure. Prior to Asurion, Doug was President of Clear Creek Environmental, LLC which was sold to Wind River Environmental in 2002.
Doug received a BA in History from Brown University and an MBA from the Stanford Graduate School of Business.

Sandy Paige
DIRECTOR
Nathaniel “Sandy” Paige is an active investor where he applies his wealth of experience to private businesses and board stewardship.
Previously, Sandy served as the CEO of Explora BioLabs from 2018 when he acquired the business until 2022 when Explora was successfully sold to Charles River Laboratories. Under his stewardship, Explora achieved phenomenal growth that ultimately culminated in a $300m transaction.
Before joining Explora, Sandy successfully expanded global relationships and distribution for JAX Mice & Clinical Research Services as the Director of International Sales & Distribution. Prior to JAX, Sandy held various Executive roles such as General Manager of Knight-Celotex, VP of Administration for the Neptune Regional Transmission System and financial analyst and controller for Cianbro Development Corporation and Atlantic Energy Partners.
Sandy received a B.A. from Middlebury College in Vermont and an M.B.A. from Babson College in Massachusetts.
